Published Applicatin Problems

Hello all,

I have a strange problem with a published application on Citrix XP 1.0 using Citrix Management Console. Under applications I see all the published applications that we have. There is one application that is giving me a devil of a time. When I click on the application I can see all the user connected to it. However, when I right click and chose properties I would get “Could not read application data from the Citrix MetaFrame server farm. Error Code: c0050005/80060004”. When I click “OK” the windows closes.

It would not allow me to delete the application as well. The rest of the published applications are running and I am not having any problems with them. There are three servers on this farm running w2ksp2 with Citrix XP 1s with FR2. The datastore is MS Access running on the first server along with IIS.

Thanks for the link to the article on citrix KB. I found the same, but had no luck in repairing the data store. What I ended up doing over the weekend was removing the farm and recreating the data store in a SQL box.
