Public Folders - delete mail after time

Is there a way to set a time limit on the email delivered to a public folder. I have a public folder that has an alias so that mail can be delivered to it. I would like there to be a limit on the time that the mail message will sit in the public folder. (operation like archiving in outlook, only I would like to delete the mail permanantly)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Easy enough. In 5.5 and 2000, you can set these settings in the Exchange Administrator Console under Folders\Public Folders\Properties of the Folder.
