I have just setup a public folder as a mailbox (to get all my companies spam into one place).
The spam filter is the very good (and free) ORFilter from here:
Anyhow - I created a spam folder in my public folder tree to receive all the spam - but the items posted there were of type "post" not of mail type.
This MS article gives a resolution.
