Public Contact Folder Question

I'm using office 2003 with exchange 2003. I have my email set to go to my public contacts folder as when sending rather than my global list. Whenever I click on the TO: button, I see all the address as well as the fax numbers. How do I filter the view to only show email addresses and not the fax ones. I'm constantly sending the mail to the fax and not the smtp.
