Public Calendar Item appears on Mailbox Calendar

Hi All,

This is a weird one. We have a public calendar that several people have access too. Sometimes when a person sends an appointment to the public calendar, it shows up on one of the individual's mailbox calendars :-0! It was not sent to the individual, and the public folder is not moderated. Any possible explanations are appreciated.
