I have a client that insists on using Public Access printers despite their lack of control or features. One problem they have is that some users are unable to see the printers while others are. Since NDPS was first released, I have never seen the value of Public Access Printers, therefore I have never set them up or had to troubleshoot them.

Does anybody have any ideas as to why certain people would be unable to access and print to them? BTW they seem to find the printers by browsing through their network neighborhood and they show up (when they do show up) as being attached to the server that the manager is running on.

Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Yes I saw that and was happy to see that Novell was recommending that you don't use Public Access printers.. Ended up putting the patches on but still had a few problems. Found out the NDPS database on the one server was corrupt. Once I resolved that, it seemed to fix everything.
Thanks.
