I enjoy using ASA for adding bulk numbers of extensions, agent ID's, or just changing features on large batches of phones all at once by using the 'change' option.
I noticed that in the import options, you can also change public unknown numbering. I have large batches all the time that need to be changed.

But I want to be sure that what I do here won't wipe out or overwirte the existing table. It doesn't appear when you select ch public uknown numbering that there's any 'change' option.
I'm paranoid that if I try to import one entry as a test, that it's gonna think that it's importing my one entry as the entire table and overwrite everything else.
Can anyone confirm how that function works? I've already export my existing table for safety, but I'm still gun shy.

Good on you for being hesitant, I get a warning in ASA that anything I import will overwrite the whole table. I suppose you could take the whole table and import it with your changes. Make sure to backup your translations before doing the import just in case.

Once you choose 'change' from the dropdown and select public unknown numbering, it shows "Replace"
