PTD, YTD

We have a table that has Year, Period, Day in Period and Revenue. I'm looking for a way to give a running total of both period and year to date revenue with a comparison to the last two years. If I had a select of "select, year, period, day, period from table ordery by period, day" how would I achieve this?
