-I have created a batch file that runs at startup and works fine when the administrator logs in but not when the normal user logs in because they do not have admin rights, just normal user rights.

-I have 20 Win2k pc's that are not part of a domain and I need to psynch the time on them with a Win2k server when the pc is turned on.

Is there a registry key that they need permission to or a better way to do this?

You can change who has rights to change the system time in Local Security Settings (found in administrative tools). Once in there look under Local Policies > User Rights Assignment and change the Change the system time policy to include a group your users are in.

(Or you could make them power users)

David.
