Hello everyone,

I have a traveling user that has a pst file that has gone over the 2GB limit.

He is using Oulook 2003, I've deleted all the junk emails, compacted the file, run scan pst on it.

What else can I do to reduce the size of the file?

Thanks in advance.

Rgds.

If you've gotten it down small enough to open, then I would create another .pst file in Outlook, choosing the Outlook 2003 format of .pst file, then move the mail to that. The newer format has a 20GB limit.

Thanks 58sniper

I did just that and I haven't heard back from the user, so I hope everything works.
