Hi,
We have recently setup 2 proxy.pac files on two of our servers. They have been setup in a way, so that when the connection is lost to the primary pac file it automatically fails over to the seconday one.
From all the documentation we have read, it was stated, that for the failover to actually take effect the users IE sessions would need to be restarted. All of the test cases up to this point have certainly been like this. However yesterday we had a machine that automatically failed over with no restart of IE!!
Now it is not to say that this is a bad thing, however we are a very large organisation, and we would like to know how this is achieved so that it can be rolled out to other users.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.....
Cheers,
Aaron.
