Hi All,

I would appreciate some help with protecting emails. We are very concerned about protecting our email from change or amendments that may be made after the email has been received. Basically if I send an email I want it to be read only and not forwardable or amendable. Is this possible using exchange or outlook. Is there a way of making this a global setting.

Thanx in advance.

Paul..

You can't have that. You could do Digital Rights Management to keep other configured clients from printing, forwarding, etc. But users on dissimilar systems have total control of a message once they receive it.

There is no check box that will magically do this. You need to deploy certificates and use public/private keys system to digitally sign your emails. The emails are HASHed/protected then and the receiver can't change/modify the emails without breaking the hash. However, regarding the forwarding part, maybe there is no way to control it.
