Hello,

I was wandering if there is a way to protect information in a table. I have a customer form that holds all of the information on a particular customer is there a way to lock the information making someone unable to change the info until they click the edit button? Thanks!

If someone really wants to get the data and has the ability, I don't think there is a fool proof method. However, there are other options. One way is to right click on the table and check the attritubets box to Hidden. Then go to Tools > Options, the first tab shoud be View. Look for the check box that indicates Hidden Objects and check it. Now, if someone were able to view the tables, it would not appear. Do the reverse to unhide the table.

You might also want to check into security in the help section.
