Greetings dudes!

I hate bad break-ups ... I am in the middle of a bad relation between two parties, one being the web developer and the other, the business man (now my customer).

I received the CD with all files (ASP, HTML, GIF, DBD, JPEG) but no templates. Now, as I going through the application, every page has protected areas.

Ironically, these are the areas which I will eventually do away with, but for now, I need to get this guy site back online and get him off my back (I don't like men breathing on my neck 8-) ).

How can you un-protect these pages? I found an option that appears it would do just that, but it's faded (not active). If this is not possible, I guess my only solution will be to ask original developer for actual development copies and not published copies which he sent.

Thank you all in advance!

Regards;

If you didnt receive a template - in order for it to work it should be up on the customers website somewhere.

.dwt file.

Really? So I guess I do not know what I am looking for.

Can you tell me the extension for these files. I checked every directory and found nothing intuitive to lead me to identify them as templates (based on naming convension).

Thanks;

open files in dw then Modify>Templates>Detach from template The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made.
