Hello everyone.
I would like to find a way to password protect the installation of a program we have. The program has an installation file named Setup.exe. When a user runs this file, another file named XXXX.msi is run. I have found programs that allow me to protect the Setup.exe file, but more advanced users will see that they can simply run the MSI file to install the program.
Can I protect an MSI? Can I apply something to the file that will only allow it to be run from the Setup.exe file?
I am not a programmer, so I would like to avoid altering the code. If you know of anything that would accomplish this, please let me know.
Thanks,
~Matt
