Can Someone please explain the proper steps to selling an application. I've created a journal entry application, and want to sell it. I don't know really where to start. I would like to copyrite it. Also, do I need to get a business license? I am clueless to all of these things. Please help :)
Thank You!

Try posting in the "Starting & Running a Technology Business" forum.

But the first place to start would be to hire a good CPA. They can lead you through the steps, and will tell you what expenses you can skip for now.

I agree with chiph in that you need a CPA but first you need a lawer! Become an entity of some sorts (depending upon what country/state you are in). This will help you keep what is presently yours. The lawer will also be able to help you with registered trademarks and copyright registering.

Good Luck
