Being the earth friendly, law abiding citizen that I am I was wondering if anyone knew if these needed the same dispoal consideration CRTs need? Are Flat Panel's toxic? I'm going to assume yes and as that this probably varies per state so I'll tell you that I am in Cincinnati, OH.

A little knowledge is dangerous.

Less toxic than a CRT, but because of the circuit boards containing lead and so forth, they should still be treated as hazmat and disposed of accordingly.

Just my 2¢

moonguppie,

I posed the same question about CRTs last month, and was steered towards they have a group in my area and someone came and picked up my stuff to rehab it and give it to local schools. Worth a shot...
