Hi, I have a customer who is requesting ffmpeg for his gallery installation. I was just wondering what would be the proper directory to put it in so all users could access it. I could put it in his home directory, but then only his site would be able to access it.

The directory really doesn't matter. However, if it is on a linux system, other graphics tools like ImageMagick and netPBM are in /usr/sbin. Remember to chmod the directory to 755 so the files can be executed. You will need to let your users know the path to the directory so they can point gallery to it.
