I'm looking to promote my BDC to PDC and was wondering if there were any gotchas I should be aware of. Also, what happens to the login scripts on the original PDC? Do they automatically get copied or do I need to recreate them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you setup Directory replication between the two then all of the logon scripts will auto copy over. As a procaution, I would kill all connections on both servers before the promotion. This may happen auto when you do the promtion. Abviously, make sure you have good backups before you begin if this is a production server. Consider how your clients (workstations) will authenticate to the new server. For example, if your network is unfortunately stuck using lmhosts files, then you would have to modify all of them so that they know whom the new PDC is.
