Hi,

When trying to log on to MS Project Server 2002 from MS Project 2002 Pro (located on another machine) using project server authentication, I get the following error message:

"Cannot connect.

Microsoft Project was unable to establish a connection with the selected Microsoft Project Server. This could be cuased by a loss of network connectivity, invalid username or password, lack of an enterprise global template, problems with the Microsoft Project Server or database, or your Microsoft Project Server may not have enterprise features enabled."

That's not very precise. The only thing I seem to be missing is the enterprise global template, but since I am able to connect from MS Project 2002 Pro running on the server I assume that's not the problem.

The problem occurs only when connecting from another computer; when connecting from the same computer the server is located on - the connection is established without problems.

Some details about the configuration:
- both computers are located in the same domain
- server - Win2k Server SP4, client - Win2k Pro SP4 and WinXP Pro
- SQL server 2k SP3
- system default locales are same (Enghish) on both machines

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks in advance!
SK
