I am setting up eCAS on a Prologix. Where is the CDR port?

I know where it is on a Carrier class Definity. Where is it on a Prologix?

Can it be run through the C-LAN?

How does it interface?

As far as i know, if the prologix is a release 8 or lower, you have to set up a data module and the use a 8400b data module for collecting your data.
You have also to have the output of the cdr data , if i remember well, in the system parameter customer options.

Hope this helps

You can collect cdr data from the DCE cable on the octopus cable (if you put the primary Output as eia in sys cdr).

You can do it through the CLAN on R9.5 and higher, and yes with ECAS you can use the IP way..

or use the DCE port..

I've done both, both work fine..

The instructions on the ecas tell you exactly how to do the clan method..
