I am looking to make 4 drives into 1 with partitions (Raid 5). I go into configuration (ctrl+s) and I cant find the utility to do that but now the machine boots into setup as if i did ctrl+s again.
Thanks for any suggestions

Do you have a RAID card (Smart Array Controller)? There's such CD by the nmae of Smart Start, it's bootable you can use it to configure. If you have a RAID card, Ctrl-s is more of a configuration of built in SCSI controller.. but I'm not that sure:).

I've worked with the compaq proliant series. Yes, they come with a CD called smartstart. When you buy the computer, you use this CD to configure the computer. The architecture is not quite the same as the plug and play you would expect. It acts more like the old EISA where the bios had to be told what hardware it had, so the smart start disk is pretty much a must. The smart start also has the ability to load itself onto the hard drive which afterwards can be accessed through F10 during the boot process (if loaded). If it isn't loaded, you need to boot from the CD. SCSII utilities are available from there. The smart start CD is updated on a regular basis as well as the bios for the computer and bops for scsii controllers (normally refered to as a rompaq). The rompaq's are usually downloadable, the CD isn't as far as I know.
