We are using Project Web Server 2003 and capturing time electronically.
I have several MS Project 2003 schedules that make up a Program. I'd like to set up a Master Project for the Program and insert each project as a linked item in the Master Project.
The Project Web Server support staff here tell me I can't do this ("Master Projects aren't allowed") because doing so will create duplicate entries in each resources timesheet. Is this true? Web Server isn't smart enough recognize an inserted project (that lives within its domain) and not create duplicate postings?
Is there a way around this - so that I can have a Master Project linked to subprojects, yet not creating bogus timesheet entries?
Thank you in advance...
