Hello all, this should be interesting for all who enjoy routing as I do. I am in my planning stages for an EIGRP to OSPF migration, does anyone have any procedures, tips, or case studies for a project such as this? If so please let me know.

Thanks

It depends on your circumstances, but you should be able to run both at the same time but then remove EIGRP.

Your EIGRP routes whould have a lower administrative distance than the OSPF routes, so they will be the routes choosen in the routing table. Now you can do a show ip ospf databse, and other commands to be sure you are sending and receiving the correct information from your other routers before turning off EIGRP.

Good point, because if I remember correctly EIGRP is 90 and OSPF is 110. Thanks, that helps.
