Is there any way to prohibit folders from being deleted or moved by users. I would like users to be able to create files and folders underneath this folder but I dont want them to accidentally or purposly move these folders. Novell has the rename and delete inhibit right, but I cant seem to do it in Windows 2000.

W2k has a full range of NTFS permissions which will do exactly what you need to do. You can assign permissions to folders and files ans give full control, read, write, execute e.t.c.
Try sharing a folder and experiment with the security permission option within the sharing dialog box.
