or use ATM at the TYPE prompt if youi are looking for the automatic trunk maintenance data.
2) I'll let someone with more network design experience address this, as there are many different ways it can be set up, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
routing is a multi step process. what type of number are you trying to route and do you have numbers routed to that type of number now.. brief summery
ld 90
prt
0
net
ac1 (access code 1 "9 typical")
nxx (exchange code 232 nxx 5555) or
npa ( area code npa 232 2222) or
spn ( 888 800 1010)
return
the print out shows mostly junk
rli 5
ld 86
prt
rlb
5
stuff
stuff
stuff
route 10
stuff
stuff
frl 3...
more stuff
now i know when i dial 9 the dall routes to load 90, if i dial the npa 1864, ld 90 sends me to ld 86, rlb/rli 5, that sends me to route 10 IF my ncos is =to or greater them the frl (3)..
all the "stuff" does matter and is usefull, but not required for a basic route pattern..
by the way, logic and nortel, don't really go hand in hand.
ld 16 build route, ld 21 prts routes, the least number of prompts to build a route,
ld 16
new
rdb
type depends on the trunk type (cot tie did etc)
acod a 3 4 5 digit number that is unique
ico (i think) iao for in and out, ogt for outgoing etc
and carriage return for the other 37 questions
for trunks ld 14
new 8 (hom many or just new for 1)
type (tie cot did etc)
tn 20 0 0 0 (the phyiscal location on the card and port)..
for an opt 11, 3 0, or a digital trunk 18 0..
the rest of the prompts are carriage return, i put dtn in cls, but that may be default now..
