Programming Abbreviated Dial System list

Hi I read the instructions to program a personal list but when I try and apply to the system list it does not work. I setup the program access code to *35.

I dial *35 enter then I enter 1 (List 1 is my system list) then the dial code to program then enter the number followed by # (I get a confirmation tone). When i look at the list in ASA i don't see the number stored?

What am i missing?

If I understand your question, and you are trying to program a System list from a telephone set - this can not be done. System lists can only be done via access to the switch (SAT or ASA).

Personal and Group lists can be done via a telephone with the program access code etc...
