I have CS1000E with TMDI cards and trying to connect a VTC that is connected to a ADTRAN Atlas 8330. The PRI's DCH establishes and channels come IDLE but I can't make an in or outgoing call on the system.

Keep getting a unreachable DEST reason 88 on the DCH. Has anyone program one like this. Tried direct selecting the trunk and still get a fast busy. Any sugguestions.

Programmed them as NI2, did trunks and tie sl100 interface same trouble. Lastest dep list on installed.

reason 88 is incompatible destination.

If you are set for VOD, try changing to VCE or 3VCE.

do you get the same reason 88 for incoming and outgoing calls?

might be problem with way call is tagged - NPA, SPN, Unknown, etc

can you post your DCH messages

your outgoing call is tagged unknown - try tagging NPA or NXX

CALLED #:2595012 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE/UNKNOWN (UNKNOWN)

your incoming call is proceded by a 9 - do you intend to have it call back out the switch? if yes, is route built as DID or Tie and does your channels have sufficient NCOS to dial out.

Also, check NET_Data for following prompts:
DITI = yes <-- allow did to tie line connections
FTOP = FRES <-- not used

They have 7 digit dialing so the first call is station to stattion. loop 53 is the VTC and they are built as tie. The second call is the access number to an outgoing trunk and the area code and 7 digit number.
