Working on a Mitel SX-50 system used in a hotel.

After a storm on of the phones (ext 208 circuit 4, slot 3) never came back up. I traced issue back to the system, found that the circuit on the ONS line 16ctt card is bad. I want move the phone a different circuit on the card(circuit 16, slot 3), and give it the same extension. I have no experience on one of these system, I usely work on a avaya, panasonic systems. I was hoping I could get help on the steps on programming this extension to the new circuit.

Go into Analog Sets. You should see the existing there. Highlight it and click Change. Jot down the info. Delete it from where it currently is by highlighting it, click Clear. Now highlight the new PLID, click Change, input info then save. Don't forget to move the cord in back of system to new port. Test.

Always look out for the next tech. because one day it will be you!

@jrgood0852 - you caught the fact that this is a SX-50 right? Your response sounds like a 3300
