program name altered

I need help! My husband's computer recently had a couple of viruses and IE was taken over by a hijacker which was difficult to get rid of. It is clean now but has left a problem behind. A little game that he plays called "Boxworld" has had its name changed to %s%d and no matter what I do - delete it, reinstall it, change the ini file etc. it stubbornly refuses to be changed back to "Boxworld". I have been searching for 3 weeks for a similar problem but can't find a thing. Any ideas?

Thanks compgirlfhredi. It is sorted now. The problem was a bit of code from TSADBOT got left in the registry. I cleaned it up with spybots&d (updated) and then reinstalled. It works fine now.
