Ok, we had someone come in and install our SBS server. I went around and configured all the 'puters to look at the server. Well, we had to reinstall the server software. Well while all that was going on, I had to put people back on the old server. Now that the new server is back up I've tried to redirect them to it. Now, People have two profiles. Ex. Bob Barkers profile is BBarker. But, there's another profile that I'm logging into. It's called BBarker.000. Please tell me how to fix this? Thank you

We will need more information to help you with this. I'm guessing that you are using Windows 2000 server as the main server, and NT 4.0 as clients.

As far as fixing this problem, you really shouldn't. Try copying items from one profile to the other to migrate your old settings.

You could also try logging in as administrator and deleting both profiles, re-logging on as bbarker to recreate the profile if you really want a clean profile directory, but it seems like a lot of work for minimal gain. You could also rename the profile with the "good" settings and copy these settings to the newly created bbarker profile.

These are just off the top of my head, but it's the best I can do without specifics.

What other information do you need? You were right about what operating system we're using. Thank you for your response?
