I have MS Vis Studio V6 Enterprise, but I cannot get the Profile Option on the Menu to Activate.
I have selected what I believe are the correct options in Settings (Enable Profiling, generate Map file and Microsoft Format), but still the profile option remains greyed out.

Anyone got any ideas of anything else to check ?

Cheers.

Where do you see this option ?

It is at the bottom of one of the Top Menu Items (Not in front of PC with Vis Studio on, so cannot say which at present, suspect it is the Debug or Build Menu though)

Found it : Last item in the Build Menu.

I have done a little profiling, but never used (or seen) this option before (Mine is also disabled).

Usually I go to a command-prompt and executes one of the 3 batfiles in the MCVC bin directory : fcount.bat, ftime.bat or fcover.bat.
The ouput can be pretty useful !!

OK, Cheers for that. I'll have a look tonight. And I don't care if theyre dos or windows, anything that can get me an increase from a staggering 12 fps has got to be a bonus :)
