I have a Windows 2000 terminal server and people login to it to use certain windows apps. The domain is a samba domain they login to. The question I have is that I have an account called "ie" and I want this account to only run internet explorer and nothing else upon login. How do I do this.

This is an interesting one... Not sure how to do this, never thought of this setup.

What version of samba are you running?

Is your 2000 server part of the domain?

We are using samba-2.2.7a-7.9.0 and yes the Windows 2000 termsrv is added to the domain but does not act as a controller or anything. I can setup an account on the Windows 2000 box and configure it to launch a specific app upon login but I want to authenticate to the samba server so as to have access to printers and shares but do not want a full desktop.

sorry but this doesn't help me therealtalkinggoat
