Profile Problem

I have a problem with mandatory profiles. I created a profile, put it on a seerver share, renamed ntuser.dat to ntuser.man. I then added the profile path to a test user and the profile loaded correctly. My problem is that if a user deletes a shortcut that I placed on the mandatory profiles desktop and then logs off, it doesn't return to the desktop when they log back on. It seems that the users settings are stored in the local copy of the mandatory profile and don't refresh from the server. How do I force the mandatory profile to reload at each login? I need to do this globally and not in each machines registry.

Thanks...

Jon

You need to set the locally cached copy of the profile to be deleted when the user logs off.

This will make any user that logs on get a copy of the man profile from the server. Also helps to prevent long login times as there won't be numerous profiles to check.

This is done through GP can't remember exact location though
