Hi, guys,

Just out of curiosity, I have many Microsoft products that require online activation. Just wonder what would happen if Microsoft stops providing support for those products, or even goes bankrupt.

I would imagine that if Products were discontinued or support withdrawn for any reason, Activation would be removed as any requirement by Microsoft?

If they went bankrupt, I think the world would stop from a computing point of view, until another conglomerate took over the reigns, not likely to happen, or be allowed to happen, again, I would imagine?

If they followed the path of 321 Studios, you will be SOL. The product will be worthless. It might not happen to MS, but could very well happen to smaller players. As soon as you need to reinstall, Boom! You are out of business. Been there. Done that.

Thank, guys. Really help to clarify something.
