Is there a limit to the number of processors that can interact with SQL Server 7?

Also, what is the minimum amount of memory necessary to run SQL Server 7?

The answers depend on which edition of SQL Server 7 you run.

Standard edition can use up to 4 processors.
Enterprise Edition can use up to 32 processors.

Microsoft claims the minimum RAM requirement is 32MB. In practice, 128MB may be a better minimum for Standard edition. None of our servers has less than 512MB RAM installed. We don't run Enterprise Edition but 128MB RAM is probably a good minimum for this edition, also. Terry
