We have a Merlin Legend with a CKE3 processor with Rev. 6.1 V11.2.
We did a backup and convert to Rel.7 with Win SPM.

Then I changed the processor to a CKE3 with Rev.7 v.9 and when trying to restore the converted backup, it gives the following error msg:

ERROR
Board Mismatch (4)

Can anyone help me ??

Thank you in advance!

I dont know SPM really well, but are you using any older
408 ATL mods from Merlin II (517A1 or 517B1)?

I think R7V9 looks for the 408 GSLS ATL (517A26 or 517B26).

The older ones WILL work with R7, but the problem may be in the restore

Try This

1. Shut down the system and remove all of the cards except the processor

2. Do a frigid start

3. Restore the programming to the Processor only (surrogate mode)

4. do a system inventory (still with only the processor in it.) This will tell you what the system is expecting to see

5. You can shut down and reinstall the cards then restart . You can then do a Board renumber which will let the system see the current cards and is should work ok.

Thank you both,
I tried both threats (stratagydk and ttech).
Ttech´s one was the solution to my problem.
It worked great.
Thank you both once again for your help.
Best regards,
