I have noticed something weird happening on one of my servers. A user will have 2 processes running (wfshell.exe and the application's executable) but the user is not connected to the server in any way shape or form. What's worse is that the application's executable keeps consuming more and more memory and maintains about 25% of the total CPU all by itself. Attempts to "kill" this process are futile. The only solution has been to reboot the server.
Any ideas on what could cause these "sessions" to be left open even though the user has logged off. And before you ask:
1. I am a system admin on the server.
2. We have NO IDLE timeout set
3. We have the server set to RESET broken\timed out connections.
