I have a process colour in a logo imported from Illustrator 10, and have created a swatch in Quark with the same process 'recipe'. When printed out these colours are different... why?

Grateful for any help offered,
thanks

If you are printing to a non-postscript printer it is possible to see this when printing composites. If you have the exact values plugged into quark and do not have "spot" checked in the color pallete it should output correctly when printed postscript. Try to print separations, I think you will see that when output as seps all colors will match.
