Problems with XLS-Files after Migrating to Cluster/Storage-System

Hai Everybody
There is the following problem:
After we have copied our User-Files from a NT40-Filesserver to a W2K-Cluster with Compaq MSA1000-Storage it needs a very long Time to open Excel-Files (every other File-typ opens in a normal time) Does everybody heard about a problem like this?

I knew about a similar problem when was used a NetWare client (don't remember the version). Is it your case?

Otherwise, being cluster or not, has no influence about this. Check also in the registry eventually what applications are assigned for XLS file actions. Also, that long time can be because of wher the temporary file is stored when you are opening Excel. If it is a palce where the user doesn't have rights, you can have this behaviour too. Gia Betiu
