I am using this in a function for enumering network resources.
The function has worked fine on my development machine and at least two others (2 XP and 1 95B), but I am getting problems on some machines, where the function returns errors, e.g 'command not supported' one one machine (W98 SE ) or 'no network present' on another (W98 SE) in both cases the machines are connected to a P2P network and network access seems to be OK from windows point of view, does anyone have any ideas why this function does not always work.

Ive not been well!

Well, I've read through the helpfile which made me think that this is for LAN connections only (probably not but seemed that way as you need to apply wether you want Disk, Print or Any), but I do know for a fact that some P2Ps make use of the e-mail port to make connections (eDonkey does it for sure, I thought iMesh too) so maybe it doesnt see that then as a network connection, considering the temporary nature of connection to get or send email.

Ta Bobba,
This is the standard Windows P2P LAN, set up with 'Network Neigbourhood'. Wnetopenenum should be fine with this sort of network (and it is in 7 out of 9 machines I have tested on).

Time for a new sig a bit of DNA I think will scan books and get back to you.

Oh sorry, I misread your question then, I thought you meant P2P as in filesharing networks like Kazaa, my bad.
