Hi

Hope someone can help? I am connecting Sip lines through gamma to the ip office. When I make an outbound call it connects, and if i was to ring the ddi's straight back it will also connect.

If an outbound call is then not made within five minutes when i try and dial the ddi's i get message the message"invalid number".

I have spoke to gamma who said its to do with the session timeouts on the draytek router. The It guy on site said they is no timeout options to set on the router for port 5060.

Has anyone had this before? If so how did you cure the problem? or does anyone know how I can prove its either the router or Gamma?

Cheers Nick

Set the binding refresh time on the netwrok topology tab to 180s.

Binding Refresh Time (seconds): Default = 0 (Never), Range = 0 to 3600 seconds.
Having established which TCP/UDP port number to use, through either automatic or manual configuration, the IP Office can send recurring ‘SIP Options requests’ to the remote proxy terminating the trunk. Those requests will keep the port open through the firewall. Requests are sent every x seconds as configured by this field.
[bold]you may experience problems receiving inbound SIP calls as they are unable to get through the Firewall. In these circumstances make sure that this value has been configured.[/bold]

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Ill give that a go.

Also, Gamma do not have a stun server and you need to run stun again on a reboot.

>Gamma do not have a stun server

That is irrelevant... There are a number of freely available STUN servers.
