Problems with Quicktime in Safari 1

I have quicktime videos on my website. They work fine in IE, but in Safari it becomes hit and miss. Sometimes the whole video will download, but most times it just stops at the beginning. Quicktime on other sites work fine, but not on my site. Have I missed something?
