Hi there,
I have a Windows 2000 PC which has a copy of Office 2000 installed. When running Access, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, everything works fine. After installing Publisher, i encounter problems with Access. When trying to open up an Access database i am prompted to try and reconfigure Publisher. The Office 2000 installer for Publisher starts and tries to configure Publisher but halt's when it requires data from the CD. Whether the CD is in or not is making no difference, the only option you have is to press "OK" and the installer starts uninstalling what it has just been trying to install. Publisher works fine though. Anyone who has any ideas on what is going wrong or how to fix it, would be much appreciated.

Cheers

I had simmelar problems after installing Project. I had to uninstall office and reinstall Office and Project in different directory's. I used c:\MSOffice and c:\MSProject instead of the default directory's.

After this it worked fine. It might work for Publisher as well.
