Problems with performance in ODBC Bussiness Objects to Oracle

I have an Oracle 8.0 database working on a Linux Machine and about ten PCs that query the database using an ODBC connection from Bussiness Objects. All the PCs have more or less the same hardware but some of then works much slower (about ten times than others). I have made some tests with different ODBC drivers but I have not got anything.
