Problems with OEM Backup manager

When I try to use the OEM backup manager to run a backup, I get "Failed to authenticate user". The same objective works fine from rman, it is only with OEM that there is a problem. Any suggestions will be welcome

&nbsp;&nbsp;This reply only pertains to NT.&nbsp;&nbsp;There is a default user set up for each<br>module, including the backup manager.&nbsp;&nbsp;You have to assign the user,<br>the user's privileges, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I don't have my manual with me today, but if<br>you're using NT and want me to post more, I will track it down for Monday.
