Problems with KPT3

Has anyone else had problems using KPT3 with Fireworks 4? Whenever I try to use it as a plugin, I get "Could not complete your request. An internal error occurred." I am using other 3rd party plugins successfully, and KPT3 is in the same folder with them. Any clues on why I can't get this to work? Thanks.
