problems with jetway 830ch (i think!)

i've just spent 5 hours trying to get a nightmare PC up and running.
it's a brand new jetway 830ch motherboard and amd duron 1100 processor, with 128 sdram, 20gb hdd and onboard graphics and sound.
the problem is, when i try to install an operating system it gets about 5 minutes in then runs out of memory, or hangs, or gets a missing .vxd or .dll file.
i've fdisked and formatted the hard drive, checked the ram in another pc (ran ok) double-checked all the connectors and settings, even tried putting the ram in slot2, but no joy.
please can someone help me cos i HATE not being able to finish a job!!

If you are getting really stupid errors and you are POSITIVE your settings are ok, try changing your power supply.
Not the only cause it could be, but a good place to start. Kimber
