Problems with IDBC connection from IIS5

I have recently updated my PC to Win2K which has IIS5. I have installed the Pervasive.SQL client software and I am trying to access a remove DB which is installed on an NT4 server.

In MS Access I can create link tables to the remove Pervasive DB with no problems. I have tested the connections using Installscout and Smartscout and everything seems to be fine.

However, when I try to pull data from the database using ASP, I get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Pervasive][Pervasive ODBC Client Interface][Pervasive ODBC Client Interface][Pervasive ODBC Client Interface LNA]No available transport protocol for the Pervasive Network Services Layer.

I would appreciate it greatly if someone can throw some light on this for me. Mise Le Meas,

Are you trying the ASP page from the WIn2k machine or from another machine through the browser? If it's from another machine, make sure that you've got the permissions set correctly. That would mean making sure that the user that IIS uses has rights to the remote server.
What does your connect look like for the ASP page? Are you using the DSN name or are you using a DSNless connection? If you are using a DSNless connection, can you post the connect string?

I have just managed to get the problem fixed. I reinstalled te pervasive client software on my machine and it is working fine now. I have no idea why it didn't work in the first place. Mise Le Meas,
