Problems with administration log of IIS

Hello:

I am a beginner in administration of IIS and I need to find in which log file appears that I have created a new web site .My Version of IIS is 4.0. I know that this is a basic question but I need to find it quickly, could somebody help me.

There are several directories inside of this subdirectory -
C:\winnt\system32\logfiles
They each contain different logfiles.
I'm trying to research what the differences between the files in these directories are. If you find out, please post.
